ABOUT
From Sales Shark to Sawdust Savior
I started learning the craft of woodworking as a mental escape from my high-pressure sales career. I was drawn to the magic of transforming a wood slab into a work of art that would grace someone’s home for decades to come. My first project was my workbench, which I made from the floorboards of an 18th century house that was being torn down. Over thousands of hours, I learned my craft. I am so lucky to be able to do this for a living now.
No Gators, Just Grit
After I quit the sales grind to spend 60 hours a week in my woodshop instead, I came to specialize in a few favorite areas. These include tables and wood surfaces of all kinds (including live-edge tables, epoxy river tables, bar tops, mantlepieces, traditional tables); chef-quality end grain cutting boards, as well as decorative long-grain cutting boards; and wood products for boats, particularly cockpit tables and interior steps. I’m not limited to these areas—I love a challenge and if you’re looking for anything that can be made from wood, I’d love to talk to you.
More Than Beaches and Headlines
Florida is the most special state in the country—if you only know it for its beaches, its theme parks, and yes, its Florida Man headlines, you’re missing out. From its clear natural springs, to the incredibly diverse Everglades, to the farms and ranches that make up its heartland, and so much more, this state has my heart. The best part of Florida is its people—they will go out of their way to lend a hand to a neighbor in need, and they know how lucky they are to live in this state.
